Bisphenol A (BPA) is one of the biggest hazards to human health. Found in plastics and polycarbonated baby bottles, it has been declared as “toxic to human health” by Health Canada. Three reasons why there has been recent uproar over its danger to human lives are:

  • It has been found in human tissues in less quantities and one is not sure whether it leads to any disease or not.
  • Moreover, unlike other chemicals, it is least scrutinized and regulated.
  • It is present in our lives in large amounts and since it is causing harm to the environment and us, then it is necessary to weed it out.
